Last night I attended the Indianapolis Hackers and Founders meetup for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to find an active and growing culture technical innovators operating at small- and medium-scale.
The big challenge for me is to present a coherent message of where my skills can be put to the most effective use. The local Ruby on Rails activity seems extremely promising. "Long ago" -- years before Ruby started gaining momentum -- a wise counselor introduced me to the benefits of Python programming: flexibility, ease of prototyping, and readability. I see a lot of these perks reflected in Ruby -- but as a true data nut, I'm especially excited to dig deeper into the potential of scumming through big data sets with Rails's ActiveRecord class. Provided that I can find something interesting to share, Ruby on Rails's Model-View-Controller architecture makes it easy to bring your data directly to the web.
Hackers and Founders meets once a month. I'm looking forward to the next gathering. If you're interested in hitching a ride out of Bloomington for the April event -- contact me!

The credit loans seem to be important for guys, which would like to ground their own business. As a fact, this is not hard to get a bank loan.

Be sure to check out the local Ruby meetup Indy.rb [1]. If you're interested in presenting, I know there's a handful of us interested in large scale data sets, so maybe something on ActiveWarehouse [2] comparing it with other tools in the same arena?

Ruby Data Warehousing Lightning talk -- It's on!
Hi Elijah,
I'd be happy to make a FAST presentation about this at the March 10 IndyRB. I'll get in touch with you before next week once I've had a chance to research a bit further.
Cheers,
Felix
